Braden has over 18 years experience in the construction industry in the Southeast MN area, as co-owner of Markham Builders, a firm specializing in commercial construction, steel buildings and residential remodeling.  He possesses solid experience in residential home construction having built numerous model, custom pre-sold, and personal homes since 1997.  Not only is Braden an experienced hands-on carpenter, but possesses strong contracting and interpersonal skills allowing for a successful and rewarding building experience for everyone involved.  Communication and trust are key elements to the relationships Braden develops with his clients.

In 2005, Braden established a second company, Markham Homes LLC, to focus solely on his true passion, residential construction.

While Braden handles the contracting side of things, Braden's wife, Megan, handles the creative aspects of the building process.  She also assists Braden in providing on-going communication with the home buyer, ensuring a well-informed and stress-free building experience.  With a true love and passion for design, Megan is available to assist in the design process, guiding buyers through the important decisions from changes on the blueprint to selecting the perfect paint colors. 

Megan is also a licensed Minnesota Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Burnet.  She provides home buyers with extensive knowledge on all available lots in Rochester and surrounding areas.

There is no middle-man with Markham Homes.  You will work directly with Braden and Megan from your first meeting until closing and thereafter.  Braden is an extremely attentive and involved contractor, treating all builds as his own.  He also possesses excellent relationships with his experienced, top quality sub contractors, allowing for the the best product and service out there.
